This hooved critter can be found in polar regions hiding in the snow. It's about the size of a fox and it's quite skittish. Males take part in digging burrows in the snow to impress females as a potential mate. The females will judge the burrow and also expect the potential partner to bring gifts of food to show that they are capable of raising young. Adults live alone unless raising a den of cubs. Adults are also rather quiet, while cubs are noisy with high pitched chips.
