#151 TWIN-FIN WHALESHARK

DESCRIPTION

Incredibly large, and slow moving it is found in tropical oceans and will migrate between warm water regions. Twin-Fins have a diet of plankton and small fish, rotating to various feeding grounds throughout the seasons. Mothers bond closely with their young and spend many years together. Their young are particularly playful and inquisitive which can result in seperating from the parent. Typically raised by their mother only, they live together alone expect for the first year or two of life where multiple females and their young remain in groups. Males are known to try and seperate a mother and their baby in hopes of breeding with the mother. Twin-Fins are incredibly long and occasionally are hunted down for their meat and oil.
