DESCRIPTION

Small, and many in number, this critter is found in caves scuttling on the walls in large groups. When startled, they can swarm to overwhelm threats which enter its territory. Their swaming tactics are quite effective even against larger predators, most of which avoid Ronderquil tunnels. The Ronderquil have a hive mind mentality, all following a single Queen who provides orders with vibrations and pheromones to the swarm. Ronderquill (latin for To Gnaw, evolved to rostrum which means beak-like projection for insects or crustaceans). A baby Ronderquil is called a Rondle, and a group of them is called a swarm,
