Though somewhat gentle for its species, this is still a dangerous critter and will fend off predators from its nesting grounds as it likes to keep a wide perimeter around their young. They will share the burned of raising young and help protect the entire herds eggs and nests. They are social with others of the same species and curious about the world around them.
