Elemental magic thrives in this world, people and creatures gain abilities based on specific crystal types.

Most are able to harness their elemental magic by carrying crystals on them as jewellery, or other wearable items, allowing them to attune to more than one element. Creatures have an innate ability to use magic based on their environments, if it's found in a polar region, it is likely to have water and ice abilities. Using magic is very draining on people and creatures and requires rest and good health. Common folk may opt for not using magic at all, and instead relying on pets and creatures that can do the work for them.

  • Oil - a slippery viscous substance within a bottle that typically has an eye dropper.
  • Elixir - the cure-all combination of ingredients, said to turn any metal to gold or give people immortality.
  • Topical - A substance that is rubbed into the skin or applied directly to the body.
  • Cream - A thick or thin lotion that can be rubbed into the skin or applied onto the body.
  • Draught - A liquid served from a barrel or tank rather than a bottle or can.
  • Philter - a potion or charm that arouses love or desire.
  • Balm - contains beeswax.
  • Salve - contains beeswax and herbal oils.
  • Brew - to create by soaking, boiling, fermentation.
  • Vial - A small cylindrical container containing liquid.
  • Tonic - a medicinal substance taken to give a feeling of vigor or well-being.
  • Potion - a liquid with healing, magical, or poisonous properties.
  • Tincture - a medicine made by dissolving a drug in alcohol.

  • Potion of Mana - I, II, III - gives you more magical energy
  • Potion of Night Vision - a basic night vision potion, lasts for 1hr
  • Potion of Frost - resistance to cold temps
  • Potion of Luck - bad things just don't seem to effect you
  • Polymorph - turn yourself into another person or animal
  • Shrink - get smaller in size
  • Grow - grow in size
  • Gills - breathe underwater
  • Sickness - makes you vomit, other potion effects negated
  • Toughness - gives temp strength
  • Wellness - gives temp health
  • Wisdom - gives temp brain boost
  • Beauty - gives temp beauty charisma
  • Focus - see the details and the bigger picture
  • Foresight - gives 1 vision of a potential outcome - banned in casinos
